TV BOXES

When moving, it's important to take extra care of fragile items like TVs. Using the right box for a flat screen TV can help protect it from any damage during the move. Never put unprotected TVs in the back of a moving truck

DAY OF THE MOVE BOX

Remember to pack a "Day of the Move" box with any essential items you may need on your move or when first arriving at your new home, such as chargers, batteries, snacks, or bathroom supplies. This will make unpacking much easier!

Packing Supply List 

Packing Paper or newspaper- Used to wrap everyday items to prevent scratching; when crunched up it can be used as cushioning.

Bubble Wrap- Plastic bubble wrap is the perfect solution for packing fragile items, from small jewelry pieces to large lamps and pictures. The air cushions created by the bubble wrap protect your items from any bumps and jostles during shipping or storage.

Pink Anti- Static Bubble Wrap- Used to wrap electronics including stereos and computers. It is similar to traditional bubble wrap but does not cause static electricity. If traditional bubble wrap is used to pack these items, a static electric charge could be created, damaging the item.

Packing Tape- Plastic tape, 1.5 inches (3.81 cm) to 2 inches (5.08 cm) wide; best for packing, test to see if it ruins finish before taping up drawers and canisters.

Multi Color Permanent Markers- Used to label boxes with contents and destination in new location; mark boxes "fragile" and "this side up" when appropriate.
